Artificial Intelligence dan Metode Penelitian Pemanfaatan ChatGPT Untuk Merancang Instrumen Penelitian Pendidikan Agama Kristen

Abstract

The rapid advancement of text-based generative artificial intelligence technology has led to notable progress in AI development, among which ChatGPT stands out prominently. This article proposes using AI ChatGPT to craft research instruments for students and novice researchers. This proposal stems from the identified issue of student's limited proficiency in constructing appropriate research instruments. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature research and experimentation, this article demonstrates the benefits of ChatGPT in creating research instruments through the following steps: (1) Exploring AI-related references, (2) Processing and citing relevant references, (3) Utilizing ChatGPT to develop research instruments, (4) Analyzing the strengths and limitations of using ChatGPT in crafting research instruments, and (5) Concluding. The findings indicate that employing ChatGPT for instrument development is highly effective, efficient, and closely linked to user-provided directives. Nonetheless, the research instruments generated still require adjustments to meet the specific data needs within research endeavors.


Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan berbasis teks generatif semakin pesat. Salah satu kecerdasan buatan yang sangat berkembang adalah ChatGPT. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan pemanfaatan AI ChatGPT dalam menyusun instrumen penelitian bagi kalangan mahasiswa dan peneliti awam. Usulan ini didasarkan pada masalah keterbatasan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam menyusun instrumen penelitian yang efektif dan tepat. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis penelitian literatur dan eksperimen, artikel ini menunjukkan manfaat ChatGPT dalam menyusun instrumen penelitian dengan langkah-langkah: pertama, menelusuri referensi terkait AI; kedua, mengolah dan mengutip referensi yang relevan; ketiga, menggunakan ChatGPT untuk menyusun instrumen penelitian; keempat, menganalisis kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaan ChatGPT untuk menyusun instrumen penelitian; dan kelima, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ChatGPT dalam penyusunan instrumen sangat efektif dan efisien. Hal ini terkait erat dengan kalimat perintah yang diberikan oleh pengguna. Meskipun demikian, instrumen penelitian yang dihasilkan masih perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan data dalam penelitian.
